Dr. Tyler

Dr. TylerDr. Tyler is a San Diego native and graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Immediately after, he began his studies in Dentistry at the University of Pacific, San Francisco. In 2004, he was awarded his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Dr. Tyler was also awarded and acknowledged for his dental work and community involvement with the University of Pacific's Humanitarian Award.

Dr. Tyler's Philosophy

Dr. Tyler’s philosophy in dentistry matches his thoroughness and passion in his own life endeavors. He exceeds dental education requirements to ensure he is providing the most up to date and comprehensive care for his patients. He is current with the latest research and literature to deliver the most current dentistry available with the most comfortable techniques. Dr Tyler also participates in study clubs and acts as a consultant, providing other doctors with insight on most ideal treatment decisions. In addition, Dr Tyler enjoys discussing the newest techniques and technologies in all facets of dentistry. He believes that talking and teaching about dentistry, reaffirms and cultivates his ability to provide the most excellent care. He has also been a role-model to the community with his involvement to pre-dental students at San Diego State, lecturing and providing guidance to emerging professionals. In his search to offer quality care, Dr. Tyler joined the team at the Center for Cosmetic and Family Dental. Together with Dr. Krause and their awesome team they are able to provide a full complement of comprehensive services covering everything from Cosmetic Dentistry to Implants and Invisalign.

In addition to his mentor role at San Diego State, Dr. Tyler is a member of the American Dental association, California Dental Association, San Diego Dental Society and San Diego Implant Study Club. Dr. Tyler is also certified in laser and sedation dentistry.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Tyler is actively exercising and staying active. He is an avid hockey fan and player, which he played in college. In the winter, he enjoys skiing Mammoth and Utah, while in the summer, he can be found enjoying the warmth at the Colorado River, wakeboarding and camping.
